The Guide

Alaska Fish Catcher is a small family-run guide service but the experience is huge. We love to fish just as much as you do and they have the experience to make sure your fishing in Alaska is memorable and fun. Our guide learned under an incredible fisherman, Tom Stanton. Pete started over 32 years ago and has guided in Alaska, Oregon, and Northern California. Fishing runs in our family and we are excited to welcome you into that family.
The Fish
What is one of the best things about coming to fish in Alaska? The variety of fish to catch. We have king, red, silver, and pink Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, and of course, Halibut. You just have to decide what kind of fish you want to catch and that will help you pick the time of year. No matter what species you are going after, you are sure to have a great experience. Our guides know when, where, and how to catch all these fish making sure we get you something on the hook. Check out our fish page to see when each species is running and more info on all the fish here in beautiful Alaska!

The Location

Alaska Fish Catcher Lodge is located near the town of Sterling, Alaska. This is the most popular sport fishing location in Alaska for King, Silver, Sockeye, and Trophy Rainbow Trout. The Kenai River is 82 miles and the longest river in the Kenai Peninsula of south-central Alaska. The scenery around us is always beautiful and makes for some amazing photos and even better memories. We truly are in one of the most beautiful places in the world that just happens to have some of the best fishing. Check out location page to learn more!
